The facility is run daily by a Director and Assistant Director, both fully credentialed.
They are supported by fully credentialed teachers and volunteer Board members. The above personnel is augmented by part-time staff and volunteers to ensure that the staffing levels meet state requirements for the children attending.
After a private daycare closed unexpectedly in 2020, a group of parents formed a 501c3 nonprofit organization (Valley Village). They hired the teachers needed to continue child care operations in the same building, in conformity with the regulations from the WY Department of Family Services. Today this ongoing operation is serving the community under the guidance of a 7-member Board.
The mission of Valley Village is to maintain a stimulating and nurturing environment where children of all abilities, regardless of their socio-economic or cultural background can thrive, grow, and learn together in acceptance of one another.
