The facility is run daily by a Director and Assistant Director, both fully credentialed.
They are supported by fully credentialed teachers and volunteer Board members. The above personnel is augmented by part-time staff and other volunteers to ensure that the staffing levels meet state requirements for the children attending.
After a private daycare closed in 2020, a group of parents formed a 501c3 nonprofit organization (Valley Village). They hired teachers to continue child care operations in the same building, in conformity with WY Department of Family Services regulations. Today this ongoing operation is located at a new privately funded facility, serving the community under the guidance of a 7-member Board.
The mission of Valley Village is to maintain a nurturing and stimulating environment where children of all abilities, regardless of their socio-economic or cultural background can thrive, grow, and learn together in acceptance of one another.
When they leave the Childcare to enter Kindergarten, they will meet they "readiness" standards.
